Originally named Poole Power Boats by the founder brother Robert and John Braithwaite, the company changed its name to Sunseeker International in 1985 and has become a global icon since then.
Founded by brothers Robert and John Braithwaite in 1969 in England, Sunseeker International has worked its way up the ladder and is now one of the most recognised yachting brands in the world.
Sunseeker International’s headquarters and main assembly facility are in Poole Harbour, Dorset, England.
Since 2013, the company has been owned by Chinese conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group, and it is the largest UK-based luxury yacht manufacturer (based on 2012’s revenues).

Built in 1969, this 17ft was the boat that started it all for Sunseeker International.
Although designed by an American corporation, Robert Braithwaite saw its potential, bought the mould, and built what is now known as the very first Sunseeker.
Although the Sovereign 17 is very different from the motor yachts built today, it set Sunseeker International on the path toward glory.
Launched in 2003, the Predator 108 was the first Sunseeker sports cruiser to break the 100ft threshold, and many people consider it the best-looking superyacht the company has built to date.
The Predator 108 was also featured in the 2008 James Bond Film Quantum of Solace.
Built in 2017, this yacht boasts exceptional volume and striking looks at 56ft. The new style Manhattan 52 maximises living and entertainment space, incorporating expanses of curved glass to emphasise the sleek lines and bring in more natural light.
The main deck offers social spaces that flow from the bow seating and sunbathing area to its open cockpit space.
